About The Publisher
Sean Wright
Sean Wright knows what it means to be given another chance at life.
A Traumatic Brain Injury survivor and Publisher of Faith the Magazine, Sean’s faith is not something he simply writes about. It is deeply connected to what he has lived.
His life changed dramatically after suffering a massive stroke and falling down more than a dozen stairs. The fall caused a subdural hematoma and required a craniotomy. Today, Sean requires 24-hour care while living with seizures, heart disease, and other serious health concerns.
There was a time when the weight of it all became too much. Tired of living with constant medical concerns, supervision, and uncertainty, Sean signed a Do Not Resuscitate Order in 2023.
Later, he went into cardiac arrest.
Medical staff could not find the DNR and rushed to resuscitate him.
Sean believes God intervened.
The man who had grown tired of living began to see being alive differently. What happened that day gave Sean a renewed sense of purpose and a desire to use the time he had been given in service to others.
In 2024, he founded Faith the Magazine, a publication devoted to real stories about faith, spirituality, family, service, adversity, and everyday life. As Publisher and a contributing writer, Sean gives people from different denominations, cultures, professions, and communities a place to share their experiences and speak openly about the role faith plays in their lives.
For Sean, Faith the Magazine is personal. Every edition is a reminder that he is still here, still creating, still serving, and still able to give someone else a place to tell their story.
He does not know why his DNR could not be found that day.
But he knows what he believes.
God gave him another day.
And he intends to make it count.

We all have our mountains to climb. For me, it used to be scenic locations like the Superstition Mountains in Arizona. Now, it’s a mountain in the form of Multiple Sclerosis.
